Commissioning an artwork is a unique and highly personal process
STEP 1
Together we will build a bank of images to be used in your collage. The piece can be based on your own photos, but if you do not have your own images - we can work together to build a library.
It is never a guarantee that the images a client sends me, or requests for will be used in the final print.
FYI
The size of the print is determined by the resolution of the photos you give me. For a rough idea, an iphone can stretch to a maximum of an A4.
STEP 2
Once I understand the library of images you have, I then build a brief for the project by trying to understand colour schemes, maybe favourite artists, or the purpose of the print (is it for you? a couple? a present?) before I begin working.
STEP 3
The rest is really a surprise! Your commission will arrive in your post box.
STEP 4
When your parcel arrives, you will not only receive the print, but also a small letter explaining what images I have used and how the story of the print is woven together in the artwork!
Pricing varies depending on the quality of the images you can send me, the size of the print, the turnaround time and the postage costs. Only once you order can we begin to have a discussion around these factors.
